Library GO!

Find us at our Bookmobiles, book bikes, and sites and visits throughout the community.

We’re bringing the library to you.

Can’t come out to the library? We are where you are! The Racine Public Library Bookmobile makes weekly visits to communities throughout Racine County. Our mobile library fleet also hosts two book bikes and our brand-new Techmobile. In addition, we also deliver both to pop-up libraries for communities throughout Racine and through our home-delivery service for anyone who can’t easily make it out of their home. See below to learn more about where to find us and when.

Need to get in touch with the Bookmobile? Give us a call at (262) 939-2264.

The library’s book bikes are sponsored by Racine Founder’s Rotary. Our Bookmobile is sponsored by SC Johnson.

Want the Techmobile, Bookmobile or book bikes to make a stop at your event or location? Fill out our pop-up request form below.

Racine Public Library Bookmobile

The Racine Public Library Techmobile

On the library’s 125th anniversary, Sept. 9, 2022, we unveiled the second bookmobile in our Library GO! fleet: the brand-new Techmobile. This new mobile library brings Wi-Fi, technology workshops, after-school STEAM trainings and borrowable tech, alongside English and Spanish books and multimedia items, to sites throughout Racine. Come aboard for:

Wi-Fi hotspot which will beam out the Internet for those who lack access, focusing on technology deserts within the City

Vehicle to lend out laptops and Wi-Fi hotspots to address technology inequity and Internet access disparities across our service population.

Community Event / Outreach Mobile so we’re able to be present at most all events while the Main Bookmobile continues fulfilling its stops

STEAM provider through after school programs offering STEAM classes and tech classes with 3D printing, robotics, electronics, etc.

Community vehicle housing a Spanish collection, materials pickup, and another outlet to promote our Beyond Books Collection (nontraditional items)

Where can I find the Techmobile?

Check back later as we plan more stops for our Techmobile.

Want the Techmobile to visit your location or event? Send us the details here.

Techmobile Sponsors

Meet the people and companies addressing technological inequities and enhancing literacy — digital and traditional — throughout Racine.

To install the Techmobile’s equipment and populate its collection, we sought $55,000 in community support. We have since met our goal, thanks to the incredible generosity of the donors below and dozens of others. Thank you so much to those who have given. If you’re still interested in supporting our work in digital literacy, a donation to our general fund will support our community however it’s most needed.
