Parking

 

Parking closest to the library (along Lake Avenue and in the lake-side parking lots) is metered, so please bring coins or download Racine’s parking app to your smartphone in preparation for your visit. You can pay in your preferred increment along Lake Avenue and at the lot closest to the library along the lake. The second nearest parking lot to the library costs $4 a day, and payment can be made through the city’s parking app.

 

Please stop into the library’s business office if you will need a visitor parking pass for your stay. If you’re up for a walk, parking along Lake Avenue is free once you get to the intersection of Lake and 9th.

What’s New Summer 2026

Thank you, Corey and Sabrina! Our Bookmobile Supervisor (Corey) is retiring, and our Bookmobile Assistant (Sabrina) is leaving for other opportunities. We thank them both for their years of dedication to the community and the Bookmobile.

 

While we hire new teammates, the Bookmobile will be on a limited schedule. We plan to revisit this schedule at the end of June. To see our most up-to-date version of the schedule, keep an eye on RacineLibrary.info/hours.
