Kids
The Racine Public Library Youth Services Department is on the first floor of the library. In this space, materials are available for check out in many different formats. The links below are subjects within the catalog, and you can place holds on them with your library card number and PIN.
What else can kids do at the library? Try booking our all-ages sensory room if you need a space for emotional regulation. Looking for a play space? Try the playroom in the children’s department. Interested in computer games? There’s a number of computers available for kids to use. Anyone 13 or younger can use the computers in the kids’ space. To get started, you’ll need your library card number and PIN or your RUSD student ID and password. Don’t have either of those? Just talk to a staff member about getting a guest pass.
Is your child in fourth or fifth grade? They might be interested in our annual Battle of the Books challenge!
