Finding the Library
The Racine Public Library is located at Seventh St. and Lake Ave. in downtown Racine. The library is the brick building with the clock tower up the hill from the parking lots.
Access to the parking lots is from Sixth St., east of Lake Ave.
For the metered lot, turn right from Sixth St. onto Library Dr. The meters cost $.20 per hour for up to four hours, and they are in operation Monday – Saturday 8 am to 6 pm.
The entrance to the gated lot is just past (east of) Library Dr. This lot provides unlimited parking for $1.50 per day. The gate requires $1 bills and/or quarters.
Free handicapped parking spaces are available in the metered lot and in the lot just behind (east of) Memorial Hall.
