The Racine Public Library has computers for patrons to use in the library. Each patron is allowed 3 hours per day to use the computers. A library card and PIN are required for patrons to log in.
The Racine Public Library provides access to a public fax machine. The fax machine is located West of the Adult Services Reference Desk on the second floor of the library. The rates for faxing are as follows:

You can pay at the Fax Machine with your debit or credit card. If this isn’t an option, you can purchase a prepaid fax card at the Circulation Desk in the lobby.
Adult patrons with a valid library card can check out a laptop for use within the library. Laptops are checked out from the Adult Services Desk on the second floor of the library. Each laptop gets checked out for 3 hours. There is a $10.00 per hour fine for laptops not returned on time.
Young patrons ages 5 – 14 with a valid library card can check out a Chromebook for use within the library. Chromebooks are checked out from the Youth Services Desk on the second floor of the library. Each Chromebook gets checked out for 3 hours. There is a $10.00 per hour fine for Chromebooks not returned on time.
The Racine Public Library a number of laptops for checkout and to take out of the building. The library has a limited number of Laptops to use with our Gale Courses. They are able to be checked out for 6-weeks from the Adult Services Desk. The library has a limited number of Chromebooks for checkout. They will have a 7-day due date and can be checked out from the Adult Services Desk. The Racine Public Library has a limited number of laptops available that have a 7-day check out period and can be checked out from the Adult Services Desk.

Racine Public Library has a free scanner available. You can scan documents and save them to a USB drive, send them via email or save them
to Google Drive. We have two types of scanners, a flatbed scanner for scanning books and a documents scanner for scanning a group of papers. The scanner is located at the Adult Services Reference Desk on the second floor of the library. Racine Public Library provides free WiFi to patrons. Patrons can bring in their own laptops or WiFi capable devices and use the internet. Laptops checked out at the library can also use library WiFi.
The Racine Public Library has 10 mobile hotspots for Racine patrons to check out for a period of one week.
The Racine Public Library provides wireless printing for all patrons. You can print from your cell phone, laptops at the library and even from your computer at home. Items sent to the printer will be available for 3 hours. The cost is $0.25 a page. Call 262.636.9241 if you have any questions.

- If printing a document from your computer: click browser and locate the file.
- Click the green print button. This will send the print job to the print release station in the lobby by the Circulation Desk in the lobby.
If you are trying to print an attachment from an email, you can forward the message to email@example.com. Your attachment will be sent to the printer. Please keep in mind that there may be a twenty minute or more delay in the receiving of an attachment if forwarding an attachment via email from home or elsewhere.
