OverDrive Tutorial
What is OverDrive?
OverDrive is a subscription database of downloadable audiobook content. Racine Public Library, as part of the Lakeshores Library System and the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium (WPLC), has access to this shared collection of audiobooks.

How do I Access OverDrive?
You browse the collection, check out and download the audiobooks from the WPLC Digital Book Catalog and Download Center .

You need a library card from a SHARE library and your PIN to use this service.

You will need to download and install the OverDrive Media Console Software on your computer before you can download and listen to individual titles.

Since it is a service meant to be used outside the library, you can use the library’s Internet computers to check out books from this collection, but you will need to download and listen to them using a computer outside the library.
