How Much Will It Cost If I Return Materials Late? (Fines and Fees)
The charge for all overdue materials is $.25 per item, per day. The maximum overdue charges vary depending on the type of material, but will not exceed $5 per item.

The library sends notices when materials are overdue. If you have an email account that you check regularly, you should add your email address to your patron account, since this is the fastest way to receive an overdue notice.

Follow these instructions to add your email address to your patron account (you will need your library barcode and PIN to do this.)

• Go to the SHARE catalog
• Choose Racine or Racine Bookmobile (depending on where you usually pick up holds that you place).
• This will take you to the SHARE   catalog where you click on the “My Account” link
• Click on the “Change My Address” link
• Enter your email address in the box Marked “Email:”
• Click on the “Send” button at the bottom of the page.

New adult fiction books,
under 700 pages:                        2 weeks 

Magazines, DVDs, Videotapes:   1 week 

Vertical File materials:                1 week

All other material types:              3 weeks
